Tori grew up mostly alone (except for her grandfather who watched her from time to time). Her mother left when she was 7 and her father has been in and out of her life, gone on buisness trips. This horrendous family attmosphere was perfect for a young girl who was training to be a knight. With minimal parental supervision she was able to spend all of her free time training under Savanah the elf.

She is the muscle of the knights and is skilled in swordplay. She also has some knowledge of boxing, Kung Fu, Taekwando and drunken brawling. Her favorite weapons are her sword, "Ramrod", and a board with a nail in it. Though 3-4 ft. is her preffered length of the board, she really doesn't care as long as there's a nail.

Gavin has been a loyal and faithful companion to Tori all throughout their childhood. Like Tori, Gavin comes from a broken home, and, like Tori, he has been training throughout childhood to become a Knight.

Gavin is a great fan of liturature and books and has a very large, personal library. He is especially fond of old epics and stories such as "The Cantebury Tales", "Baeowulf" and the arthurian legends, as well as plays and scripts.

Though Gavin is not fond of physical combat (and no good at it either) he makes up for it with his knowledge of the "mythical" creatures in the world around him. He has become the brain of the knights and a living encyclopedia of every kind of spirit, demon, or other Mystic that inhabits their world.

Electronics, lights, computers and girls. That is what Ajax's world is made of. When he's not out trying to get a hot date he is locked away in his room working on his computer. He is a genious with electronics, mechanics and machines. Since he was a small child he has always wanted to be a mad scientist, and therefore began, at a young age, experimenting and destroying things.

Ajax is also a legend within the Northernmoore High School theater department, where he designs, sets up, and runs the lights for shows. The theater is where he met Tori and Gavin , and suddenly learned their secret...and that there is more to their world than what meets the eye.

Ages ago, when there was a balance between Humans and Mystics, there were the elves. Immortal. Beautiful. Playful and wise.

When humans grew paranoid and selfish they waged war on the Mystics, and eventually annihilated all the elves over centuries of blood and death. The very last of her kind, Savanah lingers on in an ever-changing world.

After hundreds of years of living in hiding Savanah has decided that the old ways must be remembered, and that there can still be peace between the Humans and Mystics (though the majority of Humans aren't even aware of the presence of Mystics). Savanah took it upon herself to train the decendents of the Ancient Knights; an order of knights formed long ago and trained by elves to protect the land and it's people. Seven generations were trained and served the land before Savanah took in Tori to train.

Savanah is an ancient creature and wise beyond all humans, and has the respect of all other Mystics. Yet she is very playful at the same time. She ejnoys the forest, where few people go, and watching the sky above her and enjoying the peace. She is also a skilled fighter, and very deadly with the bow, sword and even the slingshot.

The Mysterious wizard, Fenris, has returned from Savanah's past, looking for blood. He is an ancient Mystic who holds a fierce grudge against the humans and anyone who stands beside them.

Meekah is a young, Savage girl living in the city of Aidina. She is the decedant of the native people of the Islands and is one of the few of her kind who stays true to their old traditions. Her full, Savage name is "Meekah the Racoon". She is clever and resourcefull, a willing worker, and a fast learner, and she has the inner powers of her people, but she also harbors an old hatred against those who supressed her kind. Meekah is the perfect pawn for an ambitious mind.

Who is this mysterious man known as Professor Normhate? He is odd. Powerful. and clever. He has employed Fenris the wizard and Meekah the Savage to help him on a deadly, and destructive quest that will be the end of all humanity. But what does he have to gain from it?....

Kamaria is one of the more prominent Mystics in Northernmoore. She runs "The Scrubb"; an all Mystic bar where witches, vampires, trolls, ect. may enjoy a nice drink in a Human-free enviroment. Absolutly NO humans allowed. The only except is when the Knights pay a visit, or when some poor sucker stumbles in, curious as to what this bar is like, but those people usually end up on the menu, so, no worries.

Kamaria herself is a werewolf though her nice and friendly disposition doesn't show it. On a good day she is willing to serve you with a smile and always willing to talk with customers.

Since Screming showed up on Tori's doorstep he has been adopted by Gavin. Everything about this turtle is a complete mystery, like: Why was he given to the knights? and Why is he locked in an eternal, silent scream? All the knights know is that they have recieved him and must gaurd him with their lives.

A terrible and tragic toaster accident has left this dog without hind limbs. Luckily his owner, Ajax is very good at building things.
Ajax built an all purpose, titanium, off-road wheelchair for his dog. Complete with a radio, A/C, rockets and atomic, digital watch. Ajax also likes to slip Dash his dinner scraps.
